There are collaborations that do not come about in an instant but deepen over years. The relationship between Etyeki Kúria and the Autistic Art Foundation is one of these: it began with a special label and has now become a joint initiative where wine, art, and social responsibility meet.

We believe that art—just like wine—can create connections, form communities, and convey value. This idea is the foundation of our collaboration, in which works by young artists living with autism appear on special wine and sparkling wine labels.

From a label to a shared story

Our relationship began nearly ten years ago when the Autistic Art Foundation approached us with a request to sell one of our products with a unique label. We liked the idea, and the collaboration started, with our deservedly popular Pláne Frizzante White sparkling wine providing the base. The label featured artwork by a young artist living with autism—Renáta Lakatos—and the revenue from the bottle sales supported the operation of homes for people with autism.

At the beginning of 2026, we reached another milestone: for the 20th anniversary of the Autistic Art Foundation, they wanted to include a sparkling wine in the joint project. This is also a special year for us, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary—so we gladly accepted this request. Today, the bottle of our Sauvignon Blanc Brut sparkling wine in this portfolio is adorned with a unique creation by Mihály Bálizs.
With every bottle sold, we contribute to the work of the Autistic Art Foundation: 300 HUF per Pláne Frizzante White bottle and 750 HUF per Sauvignon Blanc Brut bottle.

When an idea becomes a real business model

An important role in the further development of this shared idea was played by the BKIK Bridge to Benefits ESG course, which gave us a new perspective: why couldn’t social impact be reflected not only as support but as a natural part of business operations?

This led to the idea that the joint sparkling and sparkling wines should be available not only through the foundation’s channels but also in our own webshop and Wine Bar. Our management immediately supported the initiative, and within a short time, the expanded concept of Autistic Art × Etyeki Kúria was born, under which we began working on a broader, creatively based collaboration.

More than just one or two products – shared experiences and new connections

The collaboration did not stop at the bottles. We also organized the first charity wine tasting of Autistic Art at the foundation’s gallery on Bartók Béla Street, which was a great success and brought significant support to the foundation.

Meanwhile, at the Etyeki Kúria restaurant, we sought opportunities where guest experience and social responsibility could meet. For every piece sold of a special dessert, we support the work of Autistic Art with 500 HUF for six months.

The next stop is this pop-up exhibition, where original artworks available to the foundation are displayed at the Etyeki Kúria Sparkling Wine Estate. The exhibited works are for sale, so visitors can take home a special piece while also supporting an important cause.

Why is this important to us?

At first glance, it may not be obvious how such a collaboration relates to the operation of a winery. For us, however, the connection is very natural.

As a member of the Austrian Esterházy group, Etyeki Kúria represents values that emphasize supporting art, culture, and self-expression. We believe that all forms of creativity are valuable, and it is important that artists whose talents are often less visible to the general public also have the opportunity to showcase their work.

Our collaboration with the Autistic Art Foundation is therefore not only social responsibility but also inspiration. A shared story about how art and wine can truly build bridges between people.

Where art meets wine, shared value is born.

The exhibition can be viewed free of charge during the opening hours of our Sparkling Wine Estate until 31 August 2026.
