Kúria Sopron previously operated as the Sopron "branch" of our Etyek winery, but it has now developed into an independent entity. We can process the harvested grapes locally, allowing us to focus entirely on the outstanding qualities of Sopron instead of logistical tasks. As the newest player in the wine region, we concentrate on producing elegant yet very distinctive wines.
Our head winemaker, Sándor Mérész, guarantees stylish, terroir-faithful wines that simultaneously reflect the characteristics of the wine region and our winery's modern approach. The vineyards cover a total of 18 hectares across 4 sites (Harmler, Weidengrund, Warme Infried, Steiner). The focus is on Kékfrankos, complemented by Merlot and a few newly planted white varieties.
